Corps of Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers

RAJA-REME

The Corps of Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME) are the Army’s technical experts, our officers and soldiers are highly trained with excellent qualifications and are widely experienced at delivering innovative equipment support solutions in austere conditions within demanding financial and time critical environments.  REME currently has 9 Career Equipment Groups (trade disciplines) from our basic NVQ level 2 engineering technicians through to incorporated and chartered Engineers, programme managers and strategic level senior management executives covering the whole spectrum of Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Aviation, Electronics, Project, Facilities and Operations Management    including Business Process Improvement (LEAN Six Sigma specialists).

RAJA was established by REME back in 1993 to provide an additional provision through which we assist and support our own service leavers in their search for new career opportunities once they have decided to leave military service.  We also provide advice, support and information on opportunities and initiatives to our members consisting of former Soldiers and retired Officers up to senior level covering the whole of the UK and overseas.

Royal Signals

The Royal Corps of Signals are leaders in Information Technology and Communication for the British Army. We provide the Army with communications throughout the world and promise a varied and exciting carer.

Royal Signals provide military commanders with their information requirements and ability to command and control their forces.

The methods used are the forefront of modern digital military communications and information systems technology and the Crops strives to live up to its motto ‘Certa Cito’, which freely translated means ‘Swift and Sure’.

Royal Logistic Corps

RLC

The Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) provides constant support to the Army, both in peacetime and on operations. From vehicle parts and tools to ammunition, rations and water, the RLC maintains the Army’s operational capability by providing the required item, in the required quantity, in the required place and at the required time.

With twelve direct entry trades, our soldiers are highly trained professional tradesmen who serve with all parts of the British Army, as well as elements of the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force. We’re also experts at supporting, protecting and advising civilians who are affected by conflicts, natural disasters or any other situation where we’re needed. You’ll find the RLC wherever you find the Army….it’s our job to deploy, move, receive, cater for, resupply, sustain and recover military and humanitarian operations around the world, whatever the terrain and whatever the threat.
